I have been doing hair for almost 15 years now, and I can honestly say it's been the greatest and most interesting experience of my life so far.
From taking classes with Aveda experts like Lupe Voss in New York, to traveling to England for shows, and being published for my photoshoot creations; it's truly been a blessing. I cannot describe the amount of love and respect I have for my bosses, Ed and Nancy. I almost don't even like to refer to them as that, since there is much more of a family relationship. They have helped me fulfill every dream I've had in the industry and most importantly, made me feel vital to the company, respected and loved.
I love my job. I love my clients. Seeing the smiles on their faces is what makes each day an accomplishment. The inner beauty in all of them shines brighter when they feel good about themselves. They aren't just clients to me, they're my friends.
Having amazing co workers to laugh with and learn from is really the heart of Ladies and Gentlemen. We beam with pride when one of us succeeds, not only at work but in life. It's a constant support system.
My job isn't really a job. It's my life.
My clients and coworkers are really my family.
And the salon isn't really a salon.
